I’ve been seriously quilting for about 5 years, since retiring and have not tried drunkards path yet, but that’s on my to-try list for 2012. Also, are your mariner’s compass blocks foundation or pieced?

The compass and New York beauty block variations are paper (foundation) pieced – thanks to Judy Mathieson and Karen Stone. I like to jazz up the classic/traditional quilt patterns with color.
